Stopped working after 2.5 years. Is there any warranty coverage or credit for a new one?

I have the same problem. Today my fitbit charge 5 stopped working and flashes their logo. It won't charge or sync. This is the 2nd charge 5 I've had in the last 20 months. The 1st stopped working after 6 months and fitbit replaced it. Even with a discount if fitbit can't make a product that lasts. As much as I like your fitbit application your product is not worth the cost. You may be wasting your money buying their products.

Hi there, @VickyGD. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 has stopped working. I will be glad to help you!
Before considering other options, I'd like to know what the issue is? Is your Charge 5 not syncing, not charging? Have you tried charging it? Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. For more information, see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
It can take more than 10-15 mins to go from 99% to 100%. Personally, I never tend to charge my electronic devices to 100%, I've learned that the best way I can preserve the battery life is when I charge them to 80%. I charge them when the battery is at 20% then wait until it's at 80%.
Hey there, @LGL99. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 replacement has stopped syncing and charging. I understand how you must be feeling.
Please note that our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty
As per the description of your post, it seems like your Charge 5 is not charging or that the battery is flat. Before addressing the issue with the Fitbit logo, I'd like you to please try the tips and recommendations I provided to @VickyGD. Let me know if your Charge 5 is still unresponsive after that, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Mine too! The touchscreen won't work properly! I have cleaned it, reset it multiple times, charged it and changed the clock face, as well as checking for software updates and syncing it to no avail.

I have done this. I have tried restarting it using the cable. I think the screen made one final death knell by showing the logo, going very bright, then there's been nothing since.
