Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit Pay Wallet

Can’t clear the wallet  update notification. Don’t use the pay feature. Also can’t update to clear the notification.

To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me the exact message you're getting on your Charge 5? Is it stuck on "Set up Wallet"? If so, please note this screen will appear when opening the wallet app on your Fitbit device by either tapping on it or with left button to access to the shortcuts. While it's not possible to delete the wallet app, please give a try to the following steps to reconnect your watch to your account:

  1. Remove the Charge 5 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Restart your Charge 5.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select the Charge 5 and follow the onscreen instructions.

Thanks for the reply. I did the procedure with restart & Bluetooth—no change. What I have is: on the top right of Fitbit icon on my up to date iPhone 12 there is a red circle with a ‘1’ I assume meaning 1 notification. No notifications show under ‘notifications.’ On the charge 5 screen that shows Wallet, there is a red exclamation mark beside the wallet. I assume this is triggering the ‘1’ by the icon on the main screen. I’m not able to remove the exclamation mark or the ‘1’ on the main screen Fitbit icon. I don’t use Wallet.
