Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A) My Fitbit Charge 5 was working fine till morning workout , Now permanently displaying fitbit home logo , neither blinking nor syncing .

B) I have tried all following steps including checking fresh firmware updates given in help but NOTHING happening :-

  1. Complete the 3 pulse restart procedure using the charging cable.
  2. Follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device.
  3. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
  4. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tile to see if a firmware banner appears and complete any update if needed.
  5. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

There's also a different combination of steps that could be helpful with this problem;

  1. Hold on the button (or charging cable button) until you see the Fitbit Logo blinking (up to 15 seconds)
  2. When you see the screen blinking, release the button, wait 1-2 seconds and then hold the button again until you see the circle screen (up to 5 seconds).

C) Kindly suggest how to resolve this ????

Fond Regards .

Hi there, @SushilW. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5 and taking the time to troubleshoot it before posting here.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

  • Unpair (or make sure you've unpaired) your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Fitbit device first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
