Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo

Hello,

I have a Charge 5 that is suddenly stuck on the logo screen. I've tried all the solutions in the forum, the FAQ, and worked with Fitbit Tech Support. They escalated my issue, but whoever reviewed my case said they could do nothing to fix it. Despite this being a known issue, (it's all over the boards), they will not replace my Fitbit, just offered me a 35% off coupon.

I've only had this Fitbit for a little over a year, there haven't been any drops or accidents, just normal use. It's had other quirky issues, but I've always been able to find a solution on the boards to fix it. I'm so disappointed that Fitbit isn't standing behind its products. Buying a new Fitbit every year isn't realistic for me, even with a coupon. Posting here is my last hope in case anyone else has a suggestion. Thank you.

Hi there, @jaesbe. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Charge 5. I understand how you must be feeling.

Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.

For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.
