Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo

So yesterday my Charge 5 was low on battery, and I removed it for a charge.

Later in the day, I went into check on it and all I saw on the screen was the logo.  I could not get it to pair with the fitbit app..   I searched the community and found the following instructions:

That didn't work...it did "reboot", but it came right back to the Fitbit Logo

  • I rebooted my phone thinking that might be an issue

That didn't work....same problem

  • I shut down bluetooth and turned it back on

That didn't solve the problem

  • I removed the Charge 5 from my Bluetooth pairing list and then returned to the app to try to sync

That didn't solve the problem

  • I then removed the device from the fitbit app and tried to resync

That didn't solve it

I called customer service, and you just never know how technically astute anyone is and whether there is some developer debug mode available that they are unaware of.....so I'm tossing it out here......is there something that can be done to save this product from being added to the local dump?

This device is my first fitness device...and is barely 2 years old (and I didn't wear it for months due to surgery).

I was going to do the same as well, but then after seeing this massive amount of issues that FitBit created and them NOT willing to admit they created this issue, instead trying to convince us to spend more money on them is a farce.

FitBit should be put down and take our business to another who would be willing AND appreciate our money and business in the future.  It's apparent they have no plans to make good on their product that they are trying to lead us all into giving them more $$.  I like your idea of buying a Garmin vivosmart.

FitBit has not even shown any desire or even care about the customer satisfaction.

It's OK FitBit to admit that you created this mess intentionally to get us to give you more money.  Many will, but its time to say NO to FitBit and give a different company my business!

Very POOR way to conduct business !

My watch did the exact same thing yesterday. Was working and then looked to see the time and nothing but the fitbit logo. Ordered mine 6/2/2023

Google bought fitbit and have had nothing but problems since. Let the unit go till it's dead and then charge from zero.  that worked for me however the battery doesent last a day. See, seems like they want you to buy a new watch.Just like iphone did when you paid off your phone they would update it and then your phone wouldn't work or the battery would die ? Personally I am Looking? For a new watch that does not Require  a subscription. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

let it go till battery dies.  than charge it again. That worked for me . However the battery only last less than a day for some reason . I think the new update is designed to cause problems so you buy a new charge 6. Notice they had a sale this weekend.  Also when you call customer support  they just offer 35% of a new one. Kinda reminds me of the old apple updates that you would get as soon as your phone was paid off ??? I think Google who bought fitbit is running a scam. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Well that worked for me one time, then I went on a walk and it happened again. Haven’t been able to get it to boot. Will get stuck in boot loop until it dies, then I plug it in and resumes to boot loop. This happened with my first charge 5. The second one is the replacement sent for the first one. So annoying and disappointing.

I have had Fitbit watches since Charger 2.  My Charger 3 screen got so light I could not read it but was still tracking everything.  So, I ordered a Charger 5.  I guess I should have done some research.  I tried everything everyone mentioned to do and could not get the Fitbit Logo to come off the front screen.  I have since sent it back and got my money back.  I would like to stay with Fitbit, but don't know now what the best tracker watch is.
