I’ve had my Charge 5 for about 15 months and it’s worked great until last week. I have a white X with a red circle on the screen and every attempt to get rid of it has failed. Also it won’t charge….been at 2% . Has anyone had any luck with fixing this?

From what I've seen in this forum, it's generally rare that anyone gets it to start again, and rarer still that it retains that ability for more than a day. As for mine, it was giving me the Fitbit Logo of Death for several days so I gave up as it was already a warranty replacement and had gone out of warranty. Instead I purchased a new Garmin and have never been happier with a tracker.
Fascinatingly, I just noticed the please be patient for a response as we're very busy notice at the top of the forum has disappeared, despite the ever-growing backlog of complaints particularly in this Charge 5 category. I suspect they've just given up entirely.

Same. I told them this was a scam to get people to buy new devices. I won't support a company that won't take accountability for faulty firmware update. They offered a coupon. They ruined my device with their update. I reported to the BBB.
