Earlier today my screen went black and would not turn on. I had just charged it yesterday but I plugged it in hoping it would come on. It did not. I restarted it and it came back on, but about five minutes later it became stuck on the fitbit logo. I restarted it again, unbluetoothed my phone, I even removed the device from my fitbit account and tried to set it up again. But it is still stuck on the fitbit logo and it has been for over an hour now.

Yesterday, 9/21, I was wearing mine when I looked at it and found it stuck on the fitbit logo. Unable to reset it. I left it all night and found it dark this morning. Connected the charger and the logo came back. Still unable to reset it. Would appreciate a recommendation from fitbit support.

After initially showing a blank screen my Fitbit Charge 5 has also been stuck on Logo overnight while connected to the charging cable. I switched off my phone and tried to switch off the Fitbit by pushing the charger button for 15 seconds but the Logo remains. The only sign of life it shows is that it vibrates when I push the button on the charging cable. It is not clear from the thread above what the solution to this problem is. How do I restart my Fitbit if it it does not react when I push the button for 15 seconds. …I have also tried holding the button down for various periods up to a minute but the device just stares back at me with it’s Fitbit Logo. Can you assist?

For over 2 weeks my fitbit charge 5 has been stuck on the logo. Initially it would respond to the charger reset, now it does nothing but stay on until it dies - which is far quicker than normal. I have tried hard resets, unpairing from phone and restarting phone etc. Can someone help? It's barely a year old!

I contacted fitbit support using the chat feature. They walked me through a few things to try to get it unstuck without success. Even so, they were generous in helping me to resolve the loss of my activity tracker. If yours is less than a year old, it should still be under warranty. I recommend you use the chat or phone feature to contact fitbit support.
