My Charge 5, 12 months old, is showing the fitbit logo or a red X. I have tried all the steps mentioned on here but still only shows the fitbit logo. Any other suggestions?

If troubleshooting with Support doesn't resolve the issue you're experiencing, there's an unconventional method you might consider trying - exposing your Charge 5 to freezer temperatures. Another Charge 5 user tried this method and was able to restore their device. They describe how they did this in this thread (<-- click). This method has helped some, but not all users who try it. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for your case, it might worth a try.
