Charge 5 unresponsive display

Hello,

got my wife Charge 5 for x-mas. Unfortunately the display does not work correctly. Only the clock display can be seen. The device does not respond to swipings at all. I have already tried rebooting the device but it did not help.

Any tips?

 

Additionally, the battery was fully charged yesterday evening and in the morning it was empty.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Harri1080. I'm sorry to hear your Charge 5 display is unresponsive and thank you for letting us know that you have already tried rebooting the device. 

 

Could you please let me know if your Charge 5 is syncing?

Yes, it does sync. However the device is not collecting any activity (steps, sleep etc).
