Charge 5 vibrates and logo flashes constantly

For no reason at all my Charge 5 has gone into a fit of constantly flashing the fitbit logo, all the while it is constantly vibrating.
This continues until the battery dies.
I have tried to reboot it via online info, and talked with support who got me to do the same things.
This is a fitbit manufacturing or software issue that fitbit should fix.

Fitbit Chat raised me to Fitbit Support Team.
The replies from 'XX and the Fitbit Team' (XX = several folks) always regurgitated the same blurbs.. 'produced in accordance with strict standards', 'extensive internal testing', 'made to last'... blaw, blaw, blaw....

What I know is the trackers my wife and I both got Christmas 2022 are both now DEAD FROM THE SAME ISSUE - mentioned above.

My previous Fitbit - Charge 3 - lasted YEARS... that one wore out... I got my monies worth from it.
But the Charge 5 and Luxe we got in Christmas 2022 both crapped out after 13 months of use - and crapped out in the same way.
This has to be a manufacturing or software issue that fitbit should take responsibility for.

I have next to zero expectations that Fitbit will resolve the issue to my liking.
I was offered a discount on a NEWer(more expensive) Fitbit, at FULL price, plus shipping EXTRA, plus taxes EXTRA... which worked out to about $20 savings over what I could get if I walked into BestBuy and bought it.... big WOOP.

I am posting here to - hopefully - get help to un-toast my Charge 5.

My hopes are low as theFitbit Support Team read the issue description and didn't even attempt to fix it or ask for it back.
ie: I expect Fitbit knows there is a manufacturing or software issue that toasted it.

In any case I will either find a way to reboot the thing or - since I'm paying pretty much full price - shop around and see what else is out there.
