My one-year old Charge 5 clock face is now always black (doesn't display anything) or when I connect it to a charging cable turns all white. Double taps on the screen or swiping does nothing. I fear the watch has died but wanted to ask this community for advice (if any) before moving on. TYIA.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
