Same problem. Mine hasn't charged for 3 days. Post an update if you found a solution.

Hi there, @Skinnybob. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Charge 5 is not charging nor turning on. I'm sorry you had some troubles getting in touch with our Support Team. However, I managed to get in touch with them after posting here and they've already assisted you. If you have any questions regarding the outcome of your case, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team again. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly. We hope to get you back on track soon!
@Lzend001 Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and the details provided in your post. I will do my best to help you to bring back to life your Fitbit device.
Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Update - After trying all the trouble shooting steps and trying for 4 hours to get to customer support, I had to try all the steps again and confirm them with customer support. Then they finally agreed to sent a replacement (yes, the warranty is still good). This is my four replacement in 2 years and one I had to pay a percentage of because of missing the warranty by one or months when the second one died. I didn't agree with this because the replacement was only about 6 months. I did decide to order the new one and also paid for an extended warranty of 2 years which now I'm looking into because of the new one that is on it's and that might have been a BIG waste of money because they a have dropped the Charge 5 from there store. I don't know why they didn't offer me the charge 6 but my guess is that the not worried about quality over quantity. I have a small wrist and hand so I really like the style, comfort, and sort of like the app. I will be considering a better quality next time and am disappointed that the company (Now owed by google) did not figure out how to fix the many errors over the years. I really did like the product.
Note: I did notice that the need to charge notifications always arrived after the fitbit was died on the charger. That had been happening for months so I always checked the level on the app (When I remembered).
And after almost 24 hours of charging from 27 to 28 Jan 2024 I went to take it of the charging and it turned on 100% charged. 2 hours later dead. back on charger a couple of hours, checked that all settings were turned off (GPS, heart monitor) red light still on back (No green light at all) reset it (it worked this time). Charged to 100%. Dead about 2 hours later. I would send it back to the company so that they could see why it keeps breaking but with all the chats I'm sure they know what's wrong with it.
If I get any information, about the warranty I paid for a discontinued item I will share the information but I'm not hopeful.
Maybe Fitbit (Google) will surprise me....

I had a similar issue with the battery completely draining out in less than 10 minutes. I tried all the suggestions to get this fixed but to no avail. Spoke to customer service as well - since it was just out of warranty, they said they can't do anything about this device. So, I threw it in the dustbin and bought a competitor's product. Just posting my experience here so that it can help other users who are planning to buy this product.
