I charged my charge 5 overnight a couple of times. I think I might've fried the battery. A couple days before now, I started to see that my Fitbit would only last a day before dying. Now, it's three seconds. I can't use my Fitbit without it being connected to a charger. The screen is a tint of yellow too. I also tried restarting which didn't do anything. If I connect my charge five to the charger, it'll say it's at 8% or something. But, the second I disconnect it, it shuts off. Then if I reconnect it, it's back to 1%. What's going on?

Yep. I've left it on the charger for way more than 30 minutes (right before I went to school) so it's about 7ish hours now. Looking at it now while it's on the charger (still with a weird yellow tint) it says 99%.
After unplugging it, the Fitbit does not respond when I tap the screen. When I plugged it back in, it showed the Fitbit logo and said it was at 1% again.

I've been having the same problem. I have used all the troubleshooting tips, but the battery still drains quickly and takes a long time to power up. It no longer gives me sleep scores, just basic sleep details with "please try again tomorrow". I have seen all the posts regarding the firmware update that created numerous problems with the Charge 5. I haven't downloaded the update, but have experienced issues. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital when all this happened and my warranty had just expired. I'm not sure how to remedy the battery problem.
