when i charge my fitbit it says 1% on the Watch all the time. The charge in the app goes up to 99%. But when i unplug the Watch again says 1%.
i have pressed the button on the charger etc and the fitbit logo is visible on the display hereafter but that is it.
It worked fine until last night when it needed to charge. Any ideas?

Hi there, @Hannez. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not charging properly. We're here to help you!
In addition to the tips and recommendations provided by @Gr4ndp4, please keep in mind that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5 once again, I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

No luck. After restart the fitbit logo is briefly shown in the display when the charger is plugged in. When the fitbit is unplugged the display is Black. When i plug it in again the bit changes charge from 99% to 1% according to the app and it starts to charge again. The fit bit is 1 year Old

Hi, @Hannez, I think your best way forward will be to talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good idea to note the steps you've taken & the results so you can brief the agent clearly.
As your device is just over a year old you may still have the benefit of Fitbit's return and warranty policy
This will depend on who you bought it from and where and when you bought it. The agent will need this information if it has an impact on your case.
I hope this helps.
Cheers
