My Fitbit Charge 5 needs a charge. I connected it to the charger, but it connects for a second with a vibration then stops charging. I tried a few times and every single time it vibrates then stops charging. It will intermittently show a screen saying faulty charger or something. It’s so quick I can’t read it. Please help!!! It was purchased end of September 2021.

I have the same problem. Fitbit 5 went flat during day. Now shows 1% charge and will not charge. If you try to reset does the same as your problem

Yup, complete black screen. Won't Charge. The only thing we get is the Fitbit Logo (for a few seconds) then a Black Screen. Bought this in December 2021. I'm sure we are not the only ones having this issue.

I’m wondering the same thing. And now that I cannot get it to turn back on,
I have no idea what to do!
I’m hoping we can all get them replaced under warranty. Fitbit, please

Same issue here as well, on two Charge 5 devices. I bought my C5 Dec ‘21 and my husband’s in Jan ‘22. Both are dead (less than 12 hours after full charge) and now will not charge. We get the Fitbit logo, then nothing. This happening on both C5 devices no matter which cable we use to attempt charge honey using the cables that came with the C5).

Don't hesitate considering September is not far away. Call or do an online chat with Customer Service.
But before you do make sure you follow the trouble shooting process before the call. Otherwise they will request you do all the steps required before they will proceed with a replacement if necessary.

try cleaning the contacts on the back of your phone and also the 2 brass contacts on your charger with rubbing alcohol on a Q tip

Same here. C5 screen is black. I once got the Fitbit logo but don’t anymore. Purchased in Dec 2021. Cleaned the charge cable and contact points. Still won’t work.
hoping their customer service replaces these under warranty. It sounds like we all may be defining a defect or recall.

Same here! Two days ago I noticed a red circle with a cross in the middle and followed instruction on the Fitbit help page. I attempted a reset with the charger, got the Fitbit logo then a black screen since, not even a buzz when I tried to reset. My husband’s Charge 5 is working and charging as normal using the same charger. This is a Charge 5 replacement as my first one had other known unfixable issues. Back to my old reliable Charge 2 again…

I have the same problem, the charger will not connect with my Fitbit Charge 5 and I am almost out of battery, help! I tried cleaning all the contacts with alcohol on a q-tip with no success.
