Charge 5 won't charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My charge 5 also randomly stopped working.  It is not charging, but the cord is working to do a restart and I charged the watch face etc. It’s either remaining on 1% or I get the flashing Fitbit logo screen.  I was however able to sync mine I know people were having issues. But it seems like it’s going to work but then goes back to the blinking logo. HELP!

Hi there, @Ginawalsh279. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still not charging. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that there are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated. If you are charging your Charge 5 on the wall socket, try using another CE certified USB adapter for low energy devices.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend following the tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Thank you for the response! I have completed all

those steps and the Fitbit if responding to the charger. When I do the reset three times, the battery will indicate it is charging but remains at 1% despite it appearing to be charging.  I leave it and when I come back it isn’t working and I have to restart that same process and the cycle continues.
