Have tried the following multiple times but won't solve the problems:
cleaned both the back of charge 5 and charging cable
restarted the devices by clicking 3 times
When I plugged the charging cable to the device, sometimes it will show check your battery, but then it disappears and shows it's charging. however, the battery seems to be stuck at 56% and not going up and sometimes drains too.

Okay update, my fitbit charge 5 (bought on 2/2022) is officially dead. bought another fitbit charge 5 official charging cable from Amazon and tried it. the fitbit logo would show for 1 second then it would go no responsive. it's not charging cable issue. i have decided to buy fitbit inspire 2 from Amazon and will file a complaint with Fitbit.
