Hi all,

My Charge 5 tracker is dead. On the App it displays a "dead battery"
sign, its only been used for a year now. I tried to restart it but still in vain.

Dear Manu, I have gone through all the proposed steps but still in vain. My tracker vibrates whenever the charging cable is attached to the tracker, but its not charging and it shows a depleted battery at the app. Thanks

My Charge5 is doing the same thing.  My tracker vibrates every 6 seconds while is attached to the charging cable but it does not charge.  I tried the reset (pushing the button on the charger 3 times within 10 seconds) but it doesn't do anything.

My Flex 1 did the same thing.  Turns out it was on it's last legs.

I have just been told by the Customer Service that i am not eligible for a
replacement for a defaulted Fitbit product under warranty! Wow!

Thats how Google’s Fitbit Customer Satisfaction is, and they assured me
that trackers are made to strict standards that are not meant to survive
months!

One of my worst experiences ever, i really thought Fitbit are much better
than that, its sad!

Hi Dave,

I bought it online last September.

Hi Bash, I managed to get my FB5 back. Have you tried using a wall charger? It's stronger than a computer USB, leave it on for a long time and every now and then press the reset button on the cable 3x and keep charging. Do this whenever you can, several times.

This started to happen to me yesterday. This evening I reset to factory settings (firmware 1.188.85) and changed it again. I got ahold of Fitbit customer service and they opened a case file and will be tracking my battery life. I assume for the next couple of days.
