Charge 5 won’t detect heart rate

Hi everyone

My Charge 5 stopped detecting my heart rate during the night and is not detecting it this morning.

It is only a couple of months old and was fitted properly and has worked fine till now.  It has adequate charge (70%).

Anyone else had this problem?

I have this problem often, try this…

• Choose Settings
• Scroll down to Restart Device
• Hit blue button “Restart”

Device turns black for about 10 sec… and the Fitbit logo comes on 2-3 times and after about 30 to 45 sec. the device should be online again.

I recommend you restart the device every day or at least every 2-3 days. I have had the best results when performing a restart of the Fitbit Charge 5 device at 8:43 o´clock or within 5 min. of that time- Don´t know why, but that’s my experience.
