Bought a new Charge 5 in April 2023 . Worked perfectly until 2 days ago. It used to hold charge for 7-8 days now it drains in less than 7 hours. Tried all the different suggestions cleaning, pressing the button on the charging cord , nothing seems to work.

Hello @Madrinha 

When my Charge 5 battery started rapidly losing power, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. Eventually, my device became "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days.

One of the users shared a detailed post of what they did to address the battery power loss issue. Click on this link: Possible fix for Charge 5 rapid battery drain 

These are troubleshooting steps to try that hopefully will resolve your device battery issues.

I had a similar series of problems. I can charge my fitbit charge 5 to 99% remove from charger and it shows 1% charge and dies. It's useless. Had a fitbit for just over a year however this one is a replacement as the first broke so it lasted less than 9  months.
