Charge 5 won't hold a charge

2 days ago my charge 5 went dead. I've charged it twice and restarted it 3 times, and it's almost dead again after 2 hours. Is it bound for the landfill?

Thank you for reporting us about the inconvenience you are facing. Please be aware that certain features may have an effect on how long your device's battery lasts. The Always On Display is one of the features I describe. With some clock faces, you may use this option to keep the display on always.

Please take a look at this article, which lists every feature I mentioned.

Thank you. None of those are turned on, and I have done nothing differently. The Fitbit has stopped holding a charge.
