Charge 5 won't pair

Rebooted phone and Charge 5 countless times, including fiddling with Bluetooth connex, and still cannot pair. 

Google, thank you for trashing things up.

And from all the problems we've experienced since they purchased FitBit, it certainly seems that way. 

Is that legal, to buy a company and then demolish it through terrible service?
