Charge 5 won't sync my data to the Fitbit app

It shows May activity not recently and I've been wearing my watch faithfully.

Hi there, @Janina22. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5. 

It seems like your Charge 5 has not recently synced. Therefore, the data is not updating as it should. 

To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image. If your Charge 5 is no longer paired, please follow these steps How do I set up my Fitbit device?
