Charge 5 won't sync to Android LG K51

I am on my second Charge Five.  Both stopped syncing with my android Lgk51 and will not sync.  Is there an incompatibility issue with fitbit and phone?  I cannot find a fitbit computer app for my charge five.  Can anyone help?

Hi @Bellarella  as of October 13, 2022, there is no Windows app. Read this article on the requirements for a phone - click to go there.

Thanks.  An internet article gave a list of Fitbit compatible phones for Charge 5.  Lgk51s listed but not Lgk51.

@Bellarella   Fitbit used to keep a list of phones that were tested by their engineers.  Now it says that the app is compatible with most phones that meet the minimum requirements.   Android 9 is the minimum OS for the Fitbit app.  I think your should contact Support if your phone meets the requirements, but doesn't sync.  I did a quick search that said that the LG K51 should meet the minimum.

Thanks. I have spoken several times with Fitbit support and it has been
very frustrating and time consuming. I am ready to give up and accept not
using all the Fitbit features. I do not get a sleep score nor a SpO2 in
addition to the sync issue. This is my second Charge 5. First one was
replaced by Fitbit.

Finally, received an answer to the cause of my Charge 5 headache.  My Lgk51 has an OS of 12.  According to Fitbit support tech today all Fitbits require a phone with an OS of fifteen or greater.  I do not remember seeing that in Fitbits compatibility guidelines.

@Bellarella  as @LZeeW posted above, for Android, it's OS 9 or higher. I have Android 9 myself and it's working fine.
