All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

Thanks! I’ve tried all the troubleshooting to no avail and support via phone or chat is unavailable. My last synce was 2:03 am CDT and unable to sync since then.

I have exactly this. It syncs my steps and heart rate etc but won't sync workouts and I get the "couldn't sync your Charge 5" message.

I just wanted to add my voice to this thread. I've had the Charge 5 for several months and have never had a problem with syncing until last night. I have tried everything suggested in this thread and in Fitbit's troubleshooting page. Nothing has worked. The only thing left is to let the battery run dead, as suggested by another user. I don't have much confidence that this will work, though. In the meantime, I'll see if I can find my old Charge 3.

I'm sick of these issues, this is not the first time I've had this kind of problem with the Charge 5 and I've only had it since February. I upgraded from an old Inspire because it too was having issues and I figured it was just old. Now I wish I had spent a bit more time researching and chosen a different brand. *sigh*

I am also having issues with my Charge 5. Today on my app it says failed to sync every time I try. My iOS and my Fitbit app are updated, yet the firmware for charge 5 is failing to load as well. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps and it’s still not working. I don’t want to do a factory reset as I don’t wish to lose all my data!

So this is a problem with all charge 5’s. Do I just check for updates and continue trying or will Fitbit send email when it is fixed. I’ve tried everything before I received this email. Force quit the app, restart my Fitbit, turn Bluetooth off and back on, forget device, unpair then pair, made sure my app and the charge 5 were updated, restarted my iPhone. Nothing made a difference.

Same issue with mine and my girlfriends, started this morning - which suggest it's a non local issue.
Can we report this somewhere?

Seems to be a very widespread issue, see reddit.com/r/fitbit. I am experiencing the same problems you described.

Mine as well.
Tried calling support, but the volume in the app is so bad, that the person could not hear me at all. Happened two times 😒

It seems to be a widespread Fitbit problem this morning. Has there been a "Response" or notification from Fitbit about this problem?

Same here. As of today, the only thing syncing on my Charge 5 is steps. No exercise, no sleep metrics, no readiness score. WHY can't Google/Fitbit get their software to work correctly? 🙄
I've been a Fitbit customer for 5 years, but with all the problems lately I'm seriously considering making a big switch.

@LizzyFitbit Given the proliferation of Charge 5 sync issues, something is clearly going on. Can we get one of these threads pinned for everyone to easily access?

Just want to add to the thread that the issue was sporadic before and now my FitBit won't synch at all, except it did catch my steps and heart rate. ?? I did all I was supposed to do. Thankfully I have an old Inspire I can use.
I have been a faithful FitBit user since I had my One (my very favorite FitBit, ever) but am looking on switching to another brand as well. These devices are not cheap and it shouldn't fail after only a couple of months.

This is the same as my charge 5. App tracking steps and all connected but not syncing. As already mentioned, I have tried everything
