Charge 5 won’t sync

All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

My iPhone app is showing everything now except the Hourly activity.  When I first open the App, it shows the correct activity hours, but after it tries to Sync, it says it couldn't sync and the Activity hours changes from 10 to 0.  Everything is correct on the App.  When I log into Fitbit.com the Dashboard shows 18,745 steps (should be 18,755) for the day but nothing else.  So everything is still not fixed.

No it doesn’t work! And why people said their solution is remove? Leaving a message saying it is fix without letting us know how doesn’t help at all

The app is now syncing, but won’t update me sleep information and score. Is this part of the sync issue?

Is not working, stil shows in the upper screen that my device could not sync, also i lost my daily workout. Besides that the calorie count is fine now.

Hi Sue_56th, 

Try the GPS hack. I'm interested if it helps your case. All the information for why this may help is on my recent (and long) post but here's a summary: 

 

"SOLUTION: 

SHORT-TERM: Go to your GPS settings and turn your GPS settings from 'Dynamic' or 'Phone' to 'BUILT-IN' for at least 3 minutes! Confirm the time on your Charge 5 is the same as on your phone (to the minute), and then attempt to sync your device again. Changing my GPS settings corrected by time lag between my Charge 5 and my phone from the prior ~2.6 seconds (after the first successful sync) to only ~1.5-1.6 seconds! This would allow ~58 seconds for your phone and Charge 5 to have the same time so the algorithms can match and your data can fully sync!!! After your sync is complete, turn your GPS settings back to what you prefer.

Is anyone who wasn’t able to sync but can now sync, having issues with missing data? Is it salvageable?

I have zero problems/issues after the Fitbit fix.  All is well with my Samsung Android.  For now!

My sync no longer errors out with the update but my sleep stats and other information are missing. Is this to be expected?

**ahem** is dead in the water…. Shows logo screen and will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!    Tried everything here… waste of time…

This has happened to mine, exactly as you say, several times now late in the evening.  Can’t do a thing with it!  Then in the morning it’s working again but each time I was 12 hours and 10 minutes behind GMT until I did a manual sync.  Very very odd!

Hi Yojana,

This problem is still existing for me on my android device. More so, I've been unable to pair my charge 5 to my phone. Have tried all the recommended methods to troubleshoot and connect
