All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

I have the same issue.
There is no easy fix that users can do to resolve this.
And it is kind of embarrassing for Fitbit that a sync issue can last more than 24 hours depending on the location.

Me too. Can’t sync to the phone whatever I do the step from the forum. It’s too bad.

Started having issues last day too. I have tried everything for my charge 5. Restart phone/watch, Bluetooth reset, forgot device etc. Very frustrating.

Worst thing for me is I got my Charge 5 less than 7 days. I just bought it last Friday coz my previous band stop working. I had fitbit for so many years and different version, never had this kind of crap before. Things just get worst these days in terms of quality. Rubbish.

I tried everything too. Mine has worked flawlessly since may until now. Hopefully Fitbit will fix this soon.

I’m having exactly the same problem with my Fitbit Charge 5. I’ve tried all the recommended fixes and nothing works, it’s actually of no use to me if it doesn’t sync. Fitbit seem to have been aware of this problem for some time now without resolving the issue, they are going to loose a lot of customers if they don’t up their game. This is my third Fitbit, they only ever last a maximum of 18 months without some problems so I won’t be buying another.

Mine too, last successful sync was 5 hours ago, yesterday was fine, went through the troubleshooting steps, nothing works.
Reset my Charge 5, can successfully add, but not sync.

Same issue. Had Charge 5 for less than a week. Tried every stage to resolve. Only remedy seems to be to delete everything and start over - unit then syncs once before immediately failing to sync thereafter - going round in circles now for hours. From previous posts and replies it looks like this is a known issue they are struggling to resolve

Having similar problems. Have followed all the troubleshooting points to no avail. I’m using an iPhone 10 with current iOS, Fitbit has also been updated. On the syncing bar at the top of the app, it shows that it’s trying to sync, the bar runs over to about 75% and then I receive the message that it can’t be synced. Everything was working just fine yesterday, but hasn’t been syncing since I got up this morning. Oddly, I’m getting a step count, but all other features have stopped working. Rather frustrating…

I have the exact same issue as you. Last sync is 15/8 21:20. Since then I get the "Fix it"-button.

Same issue as many here. Android. Charge 5. It's connected as I've gone through all the steps multiple times to solve it and have been able to connect the device to my phone, it simply won't sync all my data and fails to sync. Called Fitbit, generic responses, their support team stated they were not aware of a widespread issue. Hopefully they pick this up asap.

Hi everyone, exactly the same for me - last sync was 2 days ago, now nothing works. Phone and device are clearly "talking" to each other as I'm able to use the "Find phone" function. I'm using Iphone 12 mini, Charge 5 has been with me since November last year. The issue seems to be with the dashboard and the connectivity to Fitbit's databases, at least from my perspective. Seems like a global problem, hopefully they will prioritize it.

My watch won't sync.
I've tried uninstalling app.
I've turned Bluetooth on and off
I've unpaired the watch twice
I've reset my watch
I've checked for updates
I've tried manually connecting
I've tried going on live chat which now isn't working and wasn't helpful when it did.
I've forced stop on app
I've charged watch
Absolutely nothing is working and I'm getting no where fast with help.

Seems to be a common issue, mine stopped syncing this morning.
The connection between the device and the phone (Samsung s10e) works. When I open the app it will update the number of steps, calories etc., even a live update of my pulse. I can also change the clock-face. But sleep and workout does not sync.
I've managed to get a "full" sync by deleting the Charge 5 from the app and re-adding, but it only syncs once. If I want to sync again it's delete and re-add. Hardly a user friendly way of syncing the device.
There is a firmware update available but I'm unable to install, after a while it asks "Is your Charge 5 powered on?". Yes, it's power on, and charging.
I've tried all tricks to get it to sync normally, but so far no luck.

I think you might be right. Live chat isn't working now.
