All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.
I've been having the same issue all morning and literally done everything but still not working. Must be some larger issue. 😭
Best AnswerHaving the same issue, had my charge 5 for 1 month and 3 days and it’s been nothing but hassle, refusing to sync regularly. Really not impressed with this Fitbit. Thinking I should of got an apple phone instead 🙄
I'm starting to think the same thing. Mine stopped syncing about 4am this morning and apart from hitting it with a hammer out of frustration lol I think it must be a technical issue Fitbit end.
I've tried everything and there's no sync with the server this morning. I know that Fitbit is talking to iPhone because I'm getting HR, step-count, etc, but none of the funky calculations such as Sleepscore are getting done. Looks like the FitBit mothership is down?
I had a Samsung watch 5 it was dreadful. So I went back to Fitbit and it's been fine until today. But their customer service is diabolical.

Mine has had no change to the app. I'm thinking they have a server problem. I've always hated it that you can't synch locally to the phone.
I've had this once or twice before. It's irritating but give it time. They're not that bad once they get out of bed; it's only 3.30am in Silicon Valley. I think your data will catch up; it always has before.

Best AnswerThere was an Android system update yesterday (15th Aug in Australia) that seemed to slip through to some Samsung devices.
Since then my wife and I get the symptoms described in here on both of our phones with the Charge 5. You can see live stats and even update the clockface but you cannot do a full sync and get heart rate data, sleep data etc. It will fail every time.
Interestingly the Charge 4 still works. So good luck figuring this out...
Meanwhile our subscriptions are ticking away (as we know how Fitbits record with quick fixes is NOT good).
Perhaps a savvy user could figure out a workaround.
