Charge 5 won’t sync

All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

Me, too. This Charge 5 will be my last Fitbit. The last update changed the scaling on the weight charf which rendered it useless. It often misses some of my sleep which is one of the features I use regularly. Today's failure to sync, and to download the software update, is just one more annoyance. And I have tried all the proposed remedies others here have tried plus others. I'm done. I just fished my old time/day/date watch out of my night stand.

Yaa same here, just couldn’t sync and update how many calories I’d burned on the fitbit app.

Me either! I've tried everything to reconnect my device, but never worked. I even cleared all my data, it's so frustrated!

My Charge 5 can't sync this morning in iPhone, App showed the last sync was at 12:30 am., 8/16

Same issue here. Really disappointed in this Charge 5. I have owned Fitbit Charge devices since 2016 and have never had this much trouble.

How many of us are using the Charge 5 for deeper medical investigations? 

Yes this is frustrating, but hey, "Houston, we have problem"

I guess we have to wait for our deta a couple of days.

It stopped syncing proper 8:40 hours ago. But heart rate, steps, and exercises are syncing ok.

Followed directions exactly, and the watch reconnected with my iPhone 8, but still will not sync at all. If this keeps up, I will trash the Fitbit 5 which has been difficult to sync ever since I purchased it, write it off as loss, and find a reliable tracker.  Very frustrating.  Caveat emptor, folks!

I am unable to sync also iPhone 12 charge5. Looks like Fitbit is investigating. I know my phone and watch are connected because the find my phone button on watch works. I have rebooted everything and reset everything but no luck.

I have the same issue (blue tooth connection works, only sync to server fails. And fitbit app runs on a Iphone 13).
Stopped synchronizing at 22:23 (UTC+2) last night.
And I noticed a new feature: the Irregular Rhythm Notification

Maybe the new feature introduced the synchronizing bug.

Yaa i also saw the banner about the investigating issue, think it posted not long ago but not sure exactly when. I think fitbit will announce when the problem is fixed.

Same here and device won't update either.  Last week the clock stopped working and I had to restart.  I've only had for 6 weeks and the bugs are worrying me.

I commented earlier this morning and this seems to be a system wide issue with Fitbit.  We are now up to SIXTEEN pages of comments/complaints and not one response/update from a Fitbit rep yet???

My Charge 5 has also stopped syncing to my iPhone 12 mini. I’ve done all the steps offered to troubleshoot this issue so many times and the only thing that works is completely removing my charge 5 from my Fitbit app and then have to set it up all over again. Even though this helps get my steps, zone minutes, calories burned and distance walked throughout the day synced all the cool features I get with Premium don’t get synced so I don’t get to see my sleep score from the night before or my readiness score for the day. It’s very frustrating especially because I know for a fact my iPhone, Charge 5, and the Fitbit App are all running on the recent updates. Hope to see an answer on how to fix this soon, thanks!
