Bought on 29 june in uk as bday gift & as soon as update loaded cannot charge or syn or come on& as 1 week after 1yr purchase no warranty still use origonal charger & wrist band & no uk contacts to help with fixing? Why? I re-set it as per usa customer support now wont work at all!! Surely an expensive fitbit should work longer than 1yr? Especially since i keep getting emails & updates?

Hi, @Luna2017 , if you live in the UK and you bought your Fitbit in the UK it is warranted for 2 years, and not just 1. Please see this link for UK warranty information.
Having said that, it is worth giving your Fitbit a restart, as that is the first thing Customer Service will tell you to do. A restart can fix many issues. To restart your Charge 5, as it is unresponsive and won’t come on, please plug it in to charge as usual, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. When it has had a good 2 hours charge try the restart: while your Charge 5 is still plugged in and charging, press the button on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing briefly between presses then wait 10-15 seconds. With luck the Fitbit logo will appear and it will be working again. It is worth trying the restart procedure a couple of times, as a single restart does not always work.
If restarting doesn’t work, please get back in touch with Fitbit Customer Support, letting them know the troubleshooting steps you have already tried, as that will save time. You can see the various ways of reaching Customer Support by clicking on Contact.fitbit.com .
