My Fitbit 5 will not stop blinking and will not sync with the app. I got it to work by pressing the circular button on the charger chord there times. The device worked for 24 hours then went black. No logo blinking just dark screen. Plugged it back into the charger and within in 24 hours it was blinking away but won’t sync or start working. Next I cleaned the charging prongs. Nothing.
Anything more I can do?

I appreciate all the information that you've provided about this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.
In addition to the three pulse restart method and the steps you mentioned that are useful when the device is not charging, please make sure that you've also tried changing the clock face option following these steps. Let me know if you continue to experience the same problem afterwards.
If there's also a syncing issue that is not related to the display not turning on, you can also follow the recommendations listed here.
