I’ve recently upgraded and gone to a charge 5 from a 2. I’m finding it logs my awake time incorrectly. My alarm goes off at 6:15am and I’m up straight away and take my Fitbit off to shower. I popped it back on and it shows my awake time as 7:05am which was the time I synced not the time I woke up.
So showing I’m having a good long sleep as it’s not registering when I’m actual waking up so an inaccurate reading and it’s my sleep I’m wanting to monitor.
I have got it set to sensitive. Wonder if that makes a difference?

Hello @Northernlass73
I sync as soon as I wake up and that seems to work. It takes seconds to do and might save you some stress to do it that way.
I hope that helps.

Yes makes total sense. A simple solution I’ll get into the habit of doing that. Thanks 😊

Tried syncing my phone as soon as I woke and got an accurate wake up time 😊 thanks.
It hasn’t however accurately logged my sleep time it’s showing my sleep results starting a good hour or so after I went to bed.
Im guessing you sync just before bed as well?
Frustrating I’m sure my Charge2 was much better at logging accurate sleep. Trial & error I guess.

Hello again @Northernlass73
No, I don’t sync before bed too necessarily.
Your problem might be having the setting on Sensitive. It picks up more on small movements and thinks you’re still awake if you’re fidgeting a bit. It might be worth changing it to Normal and seeing how well it picks up the start time then.
Trying it on Normal next time and then sync first thing. Hopefully that will do the trick.
Good luck!

Hi I have the Charge 4 and the same problem, no matter what I do in the morning, taking a shower or walking, or don't come out of bed, in my sleep log there's a long time of 'wake time' and it affects the sleep score. Last night it says I was awake for about one and a half hour, of which 39 minutes was AFTER I woke up! The setting 'sleep sensitivity' was set to normal, I'll change it to sensitive to check what happens and will sync right after I get up from now on.
