replaced my charge 3 with a 5. Have had it a couple of months. Zone minutes still an aggravation. I liked the straight activity minutes better.

Hi & welcome @Docmassax
Sorry to hear that Zone minutes on your Charge 5 is causing you aggravation. Perhaps if you share what issues you are having, we might be able to provide some suggestions to improve your experience.

@Docmassax You might not embrace zone minutes after this explanation, but I hope you understand why things changed.
Active minutes were based on CDC activity recommendations at the time. The CDC and WHO updated activity recommendations several years ago. The current recommendations are 150 min/wk of moderate-intensity activity or 75 min/wk of vigorous-intensity activity or a combination of the two. Fitbit's weighted active zone minutes (1x min for fat burn and 2x min for cardio and peak) help you meet the current activity recommendations. Your Charge 5 set your AZM daily goal to 22 min/day and your weekly goal to 150 min/wk by default. The heart rate zones are more consistent with CDC recommendations.
Active minutes are out of date.
