Clock face disappears Charge 5

After the latest update swipe left for notifications and then swipe right to

clock face, clock face disappears

 

fix is to reinstall a different face and then install the original one- this issue needs an urgent firmware update

I appreciate the information that you've provided about this issue. 

That sounds a bit odd, let me know if you're only able to see a black screen when you swipe back to go back to the clock screen. In the meantime, please make sure that you've also tried restarting the device using the three pulse method with the charging cable and check if you continue to have the same problem afterwards:  

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

The issue was that instead of the clock face there was an error message.
Restarting seems to have resolved this issue, will continue to monitor.
