Anyway to stop this Charge 5 from vibrating all the time during walks, you can runs and biking? Really annoying having my wrist bzzz bzzz bzzz all the time lol. Makes me think I'm getting a call or email or something. Quite distracting.

None of that worked, unfortunately. However, setting the goal minutes to the max allowed seems to have done the trick. So, as long as I don't do something that's 200 minutes long, I should be solid. What a h@x0r way to do things. Why can't Fitbit roll out a little patch for some bug fixes? When a user disables a function, it should actually be disabled/turned off.

Hi, than you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5, @KevinDuganJr.
Could you please please confirm what are the type of notifications that you're receiving while your device is tracking your activity? Let me know if these are call, text notifications, or a different kind of notifications.
In the meantime, keep in mind that you can turn on the Do Not Disturb Mode even while your device is tracking your activity. When this feature is on, notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted. You can also manually turn off notifications on the settings app of your Charge 5.
I'll be around.
Best AnswerThey are alerts about my activity. I believe specifically they are about different heart rate zones, and something else. I don't know. I try to focus on my activity, not my wrist constantly vibrating. When I track an activity, I just want it to track the activity, not alert me of whatever is happening. It's not texts, or emails or phone calls, those I think I can stop, it's alerts about whatever activity I'm doing. I don't really have time to look at my wrist because I'm trying to focus on cycling or running.
Sorry for delayed response, I thought I'd get an email when/if someone replied.
Still no help on this? Astonishing. The vibration alerts are indicating heart rate zone change. How can it be stopped? Thanks.
It's turned off on the device, yet, I still get an annoying vibration for fst burn, for cardio, etc. What's up with that??
Edit, I see others are having this same issue. Apparently Fitbit has provided no fix for it, however, some say to bump the Active Zone Minute Goal to 200 minutes to stop the alerts from intruding on your physical activity. I'll give that a try!

@KevinDuganJr Thank you for sharing all these updates and for the pictures.
As you mentioned earlier, the Heart Rate Zone notifications should stop if you've turned off this option on the device's settings. Let me know if you already tried restarting the device using the charging cable:
You can also try setting up the Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you continue to experience the same problem. In the meantime, let me know if the workaround you mentioned earlier is helpful to stop receiving these notifications.
I'll be around.

I have the same issue, and turned off the AZM notifications for each exercise activity as well.

There is easier way to disable all the HR zones notifications during activity. Just create custom zone and observe no more notifications (for all activities) 🙂 hacky way but works.

I recently got a Charge 5, the notifications during workouts (fat-burning zone / cardio zone) were bothering me too, especially because it locks the screen for multiple seconds, when I just want to check my actual stats during the workout. I just discovered under "Settings" > "AZM Notifications" configuration and I just disabled it. Perhaps this is a new setting that was rolled out recently. Anyway, give that a try - I hope this helps.
Best Answer@c.chi this setting must be new. I don't see it on Sense nor Sense 2 so probably has been implemented only for Charge 5 🙄
@KevinDuganJr that is clever workaround.
