I've done the reset and it does reset, but the screen comes on and off randomly, it doesn't respond to touch or buttons and it seems to be draining faster. Basically it became unusable overnight. Anyone have any suggestions please?

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Thanks for having taken your time to get things fixed by yourself.
As you've already tried restarting your device without success, I'd suggest to completely drain the battery until your Charge 5 will shut off. Then please give it a full charge which will take longer because the battery being deep discharged.

Hi. Thanks for your answer. I did that too, a couple of times. It didn't fix the problem unfortunately. Could it be a software or firmware thing? Nothing happened that would have physically damaged it, as far as I know.
