Hello,

I’m new to the community 🙂 and my apologies for the silly question.

I play CrossFit and would like to ask if the charge 5 does auto tracking to the calories that I burn during the different exercises without me putting the records manually?

Hello @KhalidSa and welcome.  There are no silly questions in the Community.  If you are wearing your Charge 5, it will track your calories.  Your Charge 5 has a sensor called an accelerometer.  In simple terms, it looks at your motion.  The auto-recognized exercises, correctly listed by @mikey_pdx, have rapid, repetitive motion patterns.  Your whole CrossFit workout might not get picked up, especially if there are breaks.  Use the Workout exercise shortcut and you will have a start/stop time and the whole workout recorded.

My yard work has been sensed as sport, aerobic workout, walk, and not at all.  Never put down a floor.

It's supposed to auto-recognize Walk, Run, Outdoor Bike, Elliptical, Sports, Aerobic Workout, and Swimming. You can configure the time it takes before auto-recognizing in the app: tap your avatar in the upper left, then go to Activity & Wellness, then Exercise.

Mine auto-recognized some of the work I was doing putting down flooring in my house on Saturday as Sports. 😄
