Is there a way to remove or hide the ECG function from my Charge 5 device. This function invariably gets activated when showering with the device on my wrist. I prefer not to need to remove. Thanks!

Hello @seddaa and welcome to the Community. Although you can wear your Charge 5 in the shower, Fitbit recommends taking it off. Fitbit Product Care
Repeated exposure to soaps, shampoos, etc., can weaken the seals. It's also better for your skin to give your wrist a rest to prevent skin irritation.

Hello @seddaa
As @LZeeW mentioned, it's good to take off your Charge 5 during a shower/bath to give your wrist area a rest. I use that time to clean & scrub my wrist area well to remove dead skin cells and any other buildup in the area.
If you still want to shower while wearing your Charge 5, you can activate the Water Lock feature. This will prevent the ECG app from getting activated when water splashes on the display. Just be aware that it takes very firm tapping on the screen to disable the Water Lock feature.
I think you can uninstall the ECG app from the Gallery, but I think the ECG tile will still show on your device. So, it could still get triggered when water splashes on the display, unless you have the Water Lock turned on.
