Just out of curiosity, since there seem to be some people with problems and some without.
If it's a hardware problem with a bad batch and not a software problem, what color version do you have?
Personally
Black/charcoal - problems

- Steel Blue - problems gone after 3 days
I have the steel blue version (with iOS), but after three days it seems to get better, although I have not set anything differently. The Charge 5 now loses about 1% per hour (with always on display turned on), which is okay for me. I have no explanation why though. I also haven't charged it particularly and let it go empty or anything.

Hmm, perhaps it might be some first day updates or calibarations in the beginning that's causing the issue then.
My just died, but I'll see if i can reset it once i get home to the charger.

I have the issue with battery as well
Charged yesterday, up to 100%, was about 8PM when disconnected - 100% battery charged.
Now I have 1pm and battery is only 51% full
GPS tracking changed to Buitl-in, vibrations normal, notifications off, screen manual wakeup
I am sitting in the office, so no Mega Big GPS usage
and will be about 70% battery lost in 24h
Get it on Tuesday - very not cool

Steel Blue. Went to bed at 11PM with 38%, woke up at 7ish to a dead Fitbit. The app shows last heart beat reading at just before 6AM. That's about 6% battery drain with Sleep mode on.

Pretty telling that its not even a week into product launch and the overwhelming sentiment is that the product has been released with some serious flaws

Black/charcoal. When I first got it, went from 90% to 50% in 9 hours and then dropped 30% while I was asleep. I charged it back up to 100% and it was still dropping fast (3% in an hour) so I restarted it through settings. It is now working great, has dropped 20% over two days. I can see it lasting around 6-7 days on one charge.

Blue died. Replaced with another blue (all this w/in the last 6 weeks) whose battery if fine. Sleep, O2 levels and activity not as sensitive as my old Charge 4, which was replaced when the band brackets broke.
