Exercise Screen not working Charge 5

Just got my brand new Charge 5 today. Set it all up, took a walk, auto-tracking worked. But I would like to be able to start, pause, and finish an exercise manually. I have the read the instructions on how to do that, but I can't get the Exercise screen on my device to do anything.  When I swipe to the Exercise Screen, it does not respond in any way. . Swiping left or right gets me back to my clock face. Swiping up does nothin,g, swiping down also me back to the clock face. Is there something wrong with my device? Thank you!

Hi, it's good to see you around in the community for the first time, @SpProgreso.

Thanks for the information provided about this inconvenience with the Charge 5.

I was checking that you should be able to see the Pause option when you swipe down while you're recording an exercise, after you tap on Pause you'll be able to see the Return and Finish options as well.

If you're not able to swipe or if you're not seeing these options, please try restarting your device using the charging cable and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second.
  3. Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  4. If the device doesn’t restart, wait 15 seconds to try again.

Thank you for your reply. Turns out this was new-user operator error! I received help from the FitBit chat service....I was looking at the wrong screen! All good now thanks!
