Faulty charge 5

15 months old and it’s faulty at least my charge 4 made it to 2yrs. Yesterday it just went black and I had to jump start it off the charger cable. Today my screen keeps fading in and out then it blacked out again and I’ve had to jump it again. I’m definitely thinking of trying another brand as 15 months is just ridiculous!

Since you've been able to successfully restart your device using the charging cable, you might want to consider doing multiple restarts over the next couple of days. This method worked for me when my Charge 5 battery had rapid drop in power. Doing multiple restarts and recharging over several days eventually got my device "unstuck" and the battery back to lasting 6-7 days. Hopefully, you will see a similar positive result.

Now it just won’t swipe, contacted Fitbit and there sending me a replacement yay, but we’ll see how long it lives!
