Hi my wife's Charge 5 battery drains from 100% down to less then 10% in less than a day and often dies before bed. I have tried Google support as I bought it from the Google store and was sent in this direction to get help so here I am.

When my Charge 5 battery started rapidly losing power, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. Eventually, my device became "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days.

These are other troubleshooting steps to try that hopefully will resolve your wife's device battery issues.
