My Charge 5 screen went black today. Everything else seems to work, it's charging, pulse and steps is working, syncing to the app and so on. I've tried to restart 3 times, the Fitbit logo appears three times, then black screen again.
Only thing wrong seems to be the black and unresponsive screen.
I did get a notification today that there is a software update, should I do it even though the screen is black?

Mine went black, 2 days ago. In app, claims it is syncing, with medium battery strength. I have done the reset (3 button push on charger) and I will get the logo and then blank. Not logging any activity. Frustrating, to say the least.

I was away when mine suddenly went blank.. charged it and its not holding its charge and can't get it too respond at all this is the 2nd time it went blank but this time I can't get it to work.

I'm having the same issue. Fitbit won't hold charge. Plus screen taps are unresponsive

@SankalpGuha @Kebab67 @Tweety27 @wjkjr @Grumpyfrog77 If your Fitbit is less than one year old, call the warranty department. So far, that's the only thing that worked for me. I'm supposed to be getting a new device, and I surely will not load the new firmware.
