I was in an accident aboout 3 weeks ago and may have damaged my Fitbit Charge 5. When I put it on charge, all I see is the comapny logo. I tried doing the soft reset and nothing happened. The unit appears to be still visably OK, but its not communicating with my smartphone. I live in the UK and the insurance company want me to see if it's repairable. I think I may have somehow damaged the board inside.

Hello @Frefrick and welcome to the Community. Fitbit doesn't offer any repair service. I'm not an employee, so I will ask a moderator to give written confirmation for you insurance. Accidental damage usually isn't covered by a warranty, but read this to be sure.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Frefrick. I'm sorry to hear that all you see on your Charge 5 is the company logo. Thank you for letting us know that you tried doing the soft reset without success.
Fitbit doesn't have repair centers but I would recommend trying setting up your tracker again:
Thank you for the advise and for the heads up @LZeeW.
