I had a charge 4 that broke and I received a charge 5 as a replacement. It has worked great until yesterday when after going for a walk the screen has an illuminated rectangle on the screen. I contacted Fitbit and carried out a series of resets to no avail. I have read that a recent update has caused problems for a lot of people. Now being told it is out of warranty and can’t be replaced. Only had it for a year! I am so disappointed as it’s not my fault it has stopped working following an update. Anyone else had this issue? I was expecting a replacement as it’s not like I have done anything to cause this problem

This is not the first time it has happened. They seem to get to a certain stage, roughly between 6 and 10 months old and then stop working. This is my third replacement, wear it everyday. I doubt I will be purchasing a new one, as it seems to be a trend.

Same thing happened to my Charge 5. It last did a sync at about 11:00 PM PDT and has not been able to sync since. Can't reset by charging.

I have been on the phone to fit bit most of the day. Been through every troubleshooting option. Mine is now syncing, but for how long I don't know. I have been advised to log out of the fitbit app, then to go to settings on the watch and clear data. Then log back in.
I've tried to delete the watch from the app.
I have also tried pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times. I have done all of the above options at least twice.
For now it seems to be working

I was able to get my Charge 5 to work and don't believe I lost any data by following this sequence:
Swipe down from the start screen (with the clock face on it).
Go to Settings.
Tap Restart device.
Tap Restart again.

Mine quit yesterday 5/7/24. Not happy. Spending too much time trying to fix it. I’ll never buy another Fitbit.

On the watch? Mine is black and won’t do anything.

Have you heard back from the manager?
Mine worked, for an hour, then it stopped again. I am really not happy with this.

Any help from a a manager? My husbands Charge 5 stopped charging yesterday (it charges and then dies in hours) and mine decided to brick TODAY. I have charge according to the app, but the only thing I can get to come up is the logo. I uninstalled the app from the phone, tried the stupid 3 press reset, changing the clock face in the app and now my bluetooth wont even pair with it...NOTHING
