Hi there!
My Fitbit charge 5 went wide open while I was washing my face in the sink and (obviously), water got logged in to the device. Firstly, I have no idea as to how the dial opened itself up, so imagine my shock/surprise when I saw it with my water-covered eyes. Secondly, dabbing the circuitry with a dry Kleenex didn't help. The display flickered initially and now, the battery won't charge. It gets stuck at the "charging" screen every time I plug it into the charger but nothing else happens to it. Is there a resolution to this? I've had this device for about 6 months now and bought it on Amazon.

Hi, @stingaph, welcome to the community, it's a pity you have had this experience. You should contact "Customer Support" and use Chat or phone for a prompt response. As you have only had your device a short while and bought it from Amazon you might want to look at their returns policy as an alternative.
