Hi all,

I want my fitbit to upload walks/hikes to Strava and be made private by default (I don't want my public profile filled with two dog walks a day). I don't want the fitbit to upload bike rides to Strava because my bike already does this and has more data (power, cadence, accurate speed). I don't want the same activity appearing twice in Strava, but I want the fitbit to be aware of the bike ride so it counts towards goals etc. I could always just not record an exercise on the fitbit, but then it will be counting steps during my ride and I don't want it to.

Is it possible to have more fine grained control over the uploading of activities to Strava?

Can I turn off step counting on the fitbit while I'm riding, and then turn it back on afterwards?

Thanks,

Allistar.
