My fitbit charge 5 has been stuck on the step and zone minute counts from Friday, 4 days ago. The step count will not increase, or reset over time. When I try to start an exercise, it buzzes but does not start recording anything. I have tried resetting the device a number of times, which does not clear the issue, and actually changes the date and time to Friday 20:20. When I resync it corrects the date and time, but does not reset the counters. I have contacted fitbit support and they can only suggest resetting the device, which I have done multiple times. The screen is responsive, so it is not completely stuck. Since this has happened the battery now depletes very quickly. Before I could go about a week without charging it, but now it seems to deplete within a day, or several hours.
It is less than 2 years old. Has anyone had a similar issue and managed to fix it?
