Fitbit charge 5 - loose strap

I just got my Fitbit Charge 5. After fixing it to my wrist I find the strap slipping out almost every time I move my wrist.! Surprised how a brand new product can be so loose as to slip out so easily !! 

Need help. Should I ask for a replacement unit or a replacement strap. The strap looks ok. Appears the lock is loose in this unit.

Please advise.

I had to buy the sports band and pay extra money.  The Fitbit kept falling off
