Fitbit charge 5 screen is totally black.

A few eeks ago my Fitbit Charge 5 started glitching out, the clock face disappeared, and the screen turned white. I tried resetting it as was suggested and that worked for a while. Now the reset button doesn't work, the clockface is completely black and the tracker needs to be charged every other day. I've had this tracker for less than a year and it shouldn't be acting up already. WTH!!!!

The exact same thing is happening to my charge right now. Started at about 5:20 this afternoon

Same. My charge 5 was at 86%. Then, suddenly,  The logo flashed. It said it was at 16% and then it just died. Had it on charger for three hours. Nothing. Cleaned charging parts. Nothing. Did the reset button 3x thing. Nothing. Still, Nothing nothing nothing. Is it a firmware or google update issue I wonder ? I never switched my account to google. Never going to.

My tracker died the same way 2 days ago as well.  I'm thinking FITBIT pushed out something that killed these.
